Water Department Staff - Main Office

First line of contact

The Enterprise Water Department's primary office, located in City Hall at 501 S. Main St., is the first line of contact with the public and provides customer service for water, sewer, garbage and recycling services for residents and businesses in and around the Enterprise area. The office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Customer service representatives can also be reached by calling City Hall at 334-347-1211. They provide assistance such as opening and closing accounts, answering service-related questions, billing and account questions, handling disputes, leaks, and customer education.

Water Department Staff - Field Office

The Enterprise Water Works Board is committed to meeting the water needs of all Enterprise citizens. Since 2000, the Board has made great strides in water quality and supply improvement. To accomplish that, the Water Board and City of Enterprise, working together, has done a variety of projects such as replacing early 1900's to early 1960's water mains, drilling 1,000-gallons-per-minute wells and constructing a 1.5 million-gallon elevated storage tank. The Water Works Board Field Superintendent, Alan Mahan, has over 30 years of experience in the Water Works profession. He works closely with Mayor William Cooper, who also serves as the Water Superintendent, and a team of experts including engineers and geologists in making critical decisions that affects the City's future water supply.
